Do your beds include a TV?
No – Each TV Bed does have the option to purchase a TV if required. All information is clearly on each page of our site of what the beds come with.
Can we deliver on Saturdays?
No – our installers deliver Monday – Friday only.
Does the price include delivery and installation?
Delivery is FREE on all our range within the UK mainland and we provide that service FREE of charge, compliments of Tellybeds.
What can the beds be covered in?
Our TV Beds come in a range of different colours and textures, with over 300 to choose from, or you can supply your own fabric if you prefer.
Do your TV Beds come with any warranty?
Yes, our TV Beds come with a free warranty for a period of 5 years, please see our terms and conditions for more information.
If I supply my own TV will the engineer fit it for me?
Regrettably no, our installers can only fit a TV if it is purchased from Tellybeds as part of the order, but cannot fit customers own TVs.
Can I use my current LCD, LED or Plasma?
Yes, most models of beds are designed with larger apertures that can easily accommodate your own TV.(depths are advised).
What is the maximum TV size (if available)?
Up to 49″ inch when used with our large motor, our standard motor is suitable for TV’s 32″, our large motor is designed for larger TV’s.
Can I use and install my own TV?
Yes, as long as the TV dimensions are no greater than the measurements shown on the product page.
Can I upgrade to a larger TV?
Our beds can be upgraded with larger motors, this will enable you to have a TV up to 49″.
Are the TVs LCD, LED or Plasma?
All the models we supply are the latest models available from Samsung.
What about delivery and installation? Is that available for all TV Beds?
ALL TV Beds include FREE delivery. FREE assembly is offered on ALL TV Beds and that information is clearly included at the top of the product page.
Is a mattress included with a TV Bed?
No, We offer a select range that are available for purchase, however, sometimes their may be promotional offers. Any offers will be marked on the individual product page.
Can I specify an earliest deliver date or specify a delivery period?
Yes, we try to deliver within preferred timescales, however we cannot advise exact dates.
Can I put my order on hold until I am ready for delivery?
Yes, we’re happy to do that for you.
Does the bed come cable ready to plug and go?
Yes, our beds do come with some cabling, although we recommend you procure an extension lead for power in anticipation of an install, plus HDMI cables, aerial cables for the goods that will connect to your new bed.
Can I add a Sky or a digital receiver?
Yes, and additional connections/wiring will be needed, please note it is not within the remit of our installers to set those up.
Can I have the storage compartment situated on the opposite side than the normal specification?
Yes, you can choose what you want and what side it goes on.
Where should the electric and aerial points be situated?
At the head of the bed or in the floor under the bed, however most simply use their existing bedside lamp sockets.
How is the bed delivered?
The bed is delivered, by a 2 man team and in sections, comprising of individual heavy duty boxes.
Can I change my preference once in production?
Sometimes, but it depends where and how far into production the order is, as they are all hand made to order.
When must the order be paid for?
Payment is expected at time of order placement by credit/debit card, cheque, bank transfer or cash (50% deposit can be paid if more convenient with the balance being required 48 hours before a booked delivery) or by taking advantage of our many competitive finance rates, from 0% and up to 3yrs!!
Will I receive a written confirmation?
Yes, instantly if ordered online and you will receive a follow up with your receipt in the post.
Will I be kept up to date with the progress of my order?
Yes, if there is any deviation or concern whilst awaiting your order, the person with whom the order was placed will advise you as necessary.
Can I purchase a bed side table/cabinet?
Yes, we make and manufacture matching cabinets to compliment our range of TV beds.
What type of base is used?
A beech slatted base is used for maximum comfort, or a solid base is used to provide a more firmer feel.
Are your base systems suitable for all mattresses?
Yes our base systems are suitable for all mattresses.
What is the voltage?
All TV Beds made in the UK have UK 230/240V
